Skipper - Whakaari Express
Grant Searancke is the Skipper of the Whakaari Express and is our Technical Diving expert. Grant has spent his life's work honing his diving knowledge around the world. After spending much of his life on the sea guiding on live aboard's, Grant returned to New Zealand to explore some of the best diving in the Hauraki Gulf.
Skipper - Hauraki Express
Jeni Tassell skippers the Hauraki Express along with her husband Brent. She is a restricted Limits Class IV skipper and an active SSI Instructor Trainer. Jeni has been diving for 14yrs in New Zealand and around the pacific. She has a background in Military Aviation with the RAF, and when not on the boat, is usually in the water teaching or enjoying the underwater world for herself!
Skipper - Hauraki Express
Brent skippers the Hauraki Express along with his wife Jeni. He is a restricted Limits Class IV skipper, an active SSI Instructor, Graduate Commercial Diver and Technical diver. He has spent a good portion of his days on (and in) the water since he learned to dive in the early 90's. When not acting as skipper on the boat he is usually under it somewhere diving at his usual relaxed pace.
