Rising over 2000 feet from the Jellicoe Channel stands the imposing and Jurassic 'Little Barrier Island'. A Nature reserve above the water, below - a playground. Boulder fields and rock islets dot the surrounding bays where the kelp beds slope away to depth, giving a multitude of diving options for all levels of experience. Exposed to the weather, this is another 'big expedition' feeling dive site but with options regardless of the winds. A magical place to dive against some very evocative backdrops. Truly kiwi diving at it's best.
This trip departs Omaha Bay Boat Ramp.
